Privacy Policy
Last updated: 7 October 2026
This policy explains how Click Catalyst (ABN 80 664 685 623) ("Click Catalyst", "we", "us") collects, uses, stores and discloses personal information. It applies to clickcatalyst.au, our Growth Efficiency Audit and any other site or tool that links to this policy. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
- Contact details you give us: your first and last name, email address and phone number.
- Business details you give us: the website you ask us to audit, your role, your goals, and your answers to our questions about your business. This includes revenue ranges, advertising spend ranges, team size, sales channels and the email or SMS platform you use.
- Information about the website you submit: when you request an audit, our systems visit that website and record publicly available information about it. This includes page content, the technology it uses, its email and SMS signup forms, and screenshots of its pages.
- Technical information: your IP address, your approximate country (worked out from your IP address), your browser and device type, and the pages and steps you view. We store IP addresses in a one-way hashed form to prevent abuse of the audit tool.
- Cookies and similar technologies: see "Cookies, analytics and advertising" below.
You don't have to give us your personal information. If you don't, we may not be able to prepare or send your audit report.
How we use it
- To prepare your audit report and show or send it to you.
- To contact you about your results and, if you choose, book a call to discuss them.
- To send you information about our services. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can ask us to stop at any time.
- To run, secure and improve our website and tools, including preventing spam, abuse and excessive use.
- To understand how people use our site and to measure and improve our advertising.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run our business, and only as needed for them to provide their service:
- Supabase stores our audit database and files, in Sydney, Australia.
- Vercel hosts our audit tool.
- Trigger.dev runs the background processing that analyses websites.
- Vercel hosts clickcatalyst.au.
- AI providers such as Anthropic may process audit findings to help write your report. They do not receive your contact details.
- Analytics and advertising providers such as Google, Meta and PostHog, as described below.
- Our email, CRM and scheduling tools, when we contact you or you book a call.
We may also disclose personal information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
Overseas disclosure
Some of the providers above store or process information outside Australia, mainly in the United States and the European Union. We take reasonable steps to make sure they protect it in a way that is consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Our sites may use cookies, pixels and similar technologies from Google (including Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics), Meta (the Meta Pixel) and PostHog. They help us understand how visitors use our site, measure the results of our advertising, and show our ads to people who may be interested in our services, including on other websites and apps. These providers may collect information such as your IP address, browser details and the pages you visit.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage ad personalisation through Google Ads Settings and your Meta ad preferences. Some parts of our site may not work properly without cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep screenshots and other evidence collected during an audit for up to 90 days. We keep your contact details and audit report for as long as we need them for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer.
Keeping it secure
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. These include encryption in transit, access controls and private storage. No system is completely secure, so we can't guarantee the security of information sent to us online.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email lilou@clickcatalyst.au. We'll respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Complaints
